Burned by his car
but it goes unnoticed
he's a traveler
sleep on his back
Mandolin in hand
He sees us all the same
livers, not dreamers he tells
me
Another shot goes down
AND THE FUTURE IS UNCLEAR
there's a familiar sound
singing in my ears
So I follow his lead
learn his ways,
See the land, keep the rich
pass the days
So drenched from the sun
my feet lose their moment
the hurt
I tell him I can't go any further
its not meant for mr
He smiled quietly,
Laughed his smile
and went away
I never heard him again
until I opened the paper
and found his death
He was like me, from my
town, A gentle creature
with so many experiences
no one would know.
I went to his memory
told stories no one would
Now, tears of joy and
pain combined in sweet
smiles
He was here, there and away too.

Cypress trees line the Village
A Valley hidden from the rest
A visionary stands his
ground, for those to build
on to test.
Bullies say he's unrealistic
Or too much of a dreamer
He doesn't understand
When really he wants to
chnage the land.
He eats in silence at table
hoping everyone will
build a sense of gratitude
Unless they get the point
he goes unnoticed.
He will do it, I have belief
my singing this song
more will know.

Sometimes I turn my head to pray
Though religion is not at all
Sometimes I sing to say what it
It is, to fall
I'm done, falling in between
The moment I felt something
And the moment you lived for me
You exhausted yourself
To help, to see
You worshiped my problems
With plea
But I couldn't come around
Do not regret, you will learn
Let the skirt of boredom
Not overcome your willingness
To yearn.
Though religion is not at all
Sometimes I sing to say what it
It is, to fall
I'm done, falling in between
The moment I felt something
And the moment you lived for me

Do not regret, you will learn
Let the skirt of boredom
Not overcome your willingness
To yearn.
I go to the desert hills
When I am divided
The restlessness concludes
and the pain subsides
The path is heavy
but the distraction helps
I find my point, my place
But my time is up
Slow down Sunset
Give me just a little more time
I didn't reach this point
That I needed to
Slow down Sunset
I must find my sound
When I am divided
The restlessness concludes
and the pain subsides
The path is heavy
but the distraction helps
I find my point, my place
But my time is up
Slow down Sunset
Give me just a little more time
I didn't reach this point
That I needed to
Slow down Sunset
I must find my sound
